December already?!

I promise one of these days I will make a post that actually had pictures included in it. My pictures are all on my computer at home and well, my mind is always going a million directions at home so I sometimes forget to make posts.

I woke up this morning to beautiful snow! I wish that I had a window I could look out and watch as the snow as it falls.

Aaron and I had a really great weekend. We went to Tennessee for the Wildcats vs. Volunteers game. It was my first time cheering for Kentucky against Tennessee, and I must admit I felt a little out of place, especially since I spent about 22 years of my life bleeding orange. After the game, we headed to Gatlinburg for the night.

We arrived at our hotel that we had previously booked through Hotwire.com, and they told us that our reservation had been cancelled because the "card was declined." We didn't think that would be possible, but we just went with it. The hotel was completely booked, so we decided to just go find somewhere else. Yesterday I called Hotwire.com just because I had an odd feeling about it all, and they notified me that they never cancelled our reservation, and the card had been charged at the time we booked the room. They called the hotel for me while I was placed on hold and the hotel verified that they were the ones to cancel the booking. I could not believe they lied to us! The lady at Hotwire was super friendly and helpful and could not apologize enough for what happened.

We went to visit the Titanic Museum that just opened a few months ago there. I reccomend it to everyone. It was extremely cool!
